Overview - Tsuen Wan District Health Centre

Tsuen Wan District Health Centre (TWDHC) is operated by Yan Chai Hospital Board, which had been awarded with the operation service contract in 2022. The service slogan is “A Healthy Life Starts @ Tsuen Wan”, to provide comprehensive, sustainable and people-centric primary healthcare services in the community, to enhance public awareness of disease prevention and their capability in self-management of health, so as to promote healthy living attitude and patterns, establish a healthy community together.

Tsuen Wan District Health Centre (TWDHC) emphasizes the concept of “prevention is better than cure”. By shifting the paradigm of “treatment-based” to “prevention-based” services in our health care system, we will strive to promote the healthy attitude and lifestyle and the importance of early detection of disease in the community.
TWDHC serve as a service hub and collaborates with private medical and health practitioners for providing health care services and resources. Clients can receive government subsidized medical consultations and allied health services according to their actual needs, so as to early identify chronic diseases and receive timely treatment.
TWDHC organizes diversified health promotions, educational activities, and exercise workshop periodically so as to promote physically and psychological well-being of the people.
